PaperDay Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
PaperDay is a daily planner for Mac, iPhone and iPad, made by MacPlus Software. This page explains what the app stores and what it never collects. It covers the app itself; the privacy policy for our website is separate.
Your sheet stays yours
Everything you write — today’s sheet and the Backlog — is stored on your device and
synchronised through your own iCloud account, in a private CloudKit database inside
the container iCloud.com.macplus-software.PaperDay. That data belongs to
your Apple account. We cannot read it, and it is never sent to any server of ours.
If you turn off iCloud for PaperDay, the app keeps working and your sheet stays on that device only.
What we do not collect
PaperDay contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party data collection kits of any sort. The app does not ask for an account with us, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details; we receive only the confirmation that a purchase was made.
Children
PaperDay is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above. We do not change it retroactively.
Getting in touch
Questions about this policy, or about what the app does with your data, go to our contact form. We answer every message, usually the same day.
